The classic story of the guy who ‘coulda beena contender', On the Waterfront is best known for the multi-Oscar winning film starring Marlon Brando. Steven Berkoff brings this iconic work to the stage directing a twelve-strong ensemble with his trademark style of bold physical theatre.

In 1950s New York, the dock workers' unions are in the stranglehold of the Mob. If you're on the inside then life is sweet - kickbacks, bribes and easy shifts are your rewards. Go against them and your life isn't worth living.
